27 cortunix hatched. 50 eggs left -pic heavy- Now 9 buttons hatched

Someone mentioned using sharp poultry shears to just snip the head claen. Over the sink is easy clean up. I'll have a hard time at processing too. I know I'll keep seeing them all soft and tiny. Good luck.

my grandma used to do it with sharp skizzors but she knocks it out first lol

Now I see 1 of my quail has spraddle or splayed legs. How do I go about fixing that up? Band aids I am guessing right?

sorry,,, have NO idea,, i cull the ones with messed up legs.

I know some have fixed the problem. If I cant fix I will cull.

Got another yellow 1. I thought I would have all browns after the last 2 yellows

Not doing bad. 23 is good for having bator issues and taking this long
to hatch. I'd be happy with that.

I did PC and almost inhaled one. Stupid band aids did not fix the legs. I will try tape soon. When I did the band aids the other ones where picking ont hem and made his toe bleed
