28 weeks and still waiting

My 2 buff orp girls are almost 29 weeks and still haven't laid the first egg. They've been passed by our 19 week old silkie who pops them out faster than we can eat them. What gives? Should we be concerned? They do not free range, and we check the coop continuously. We've heard the egg song a couple of times and have gone nuts trying to find the egg. Nothing. We even feel up the girls daily lol. Any advice?

i have 2 over 30 weeks not orps but they havent started laying. and i had some that started around 28 weeks it takes time if they arnt hiding them maybe they are eating them or they arnt laying. are there combs and waddles red and a good size? does there pelvic bones tip to tip equal 3 fingers or more if they do the bones do then they are laying somewhere.
