29 week old broody hen

Since it's her first time broody, I'd keep an eye on her. Some hens sit eggs and are determined but as soon as the babies start hatching, they kill them all. My neighbor has a few hens that are like that. I had to watch one of my own birds for the same reaction when she sat for the first time because her dad was *very* baby aggressive.

Ok thanks! I’ll keep that in mind. I’m hoping for the best since she is my nicest hen but I’ll definitely watch her when they start hatching.
