If I knew there'd be some interest in Silkies, I'd bring a bunch for sale~~to hot to ship birds now to most part of the country, but some are ready for new homes.
I may just keep an eye on this thread and come anyway......sounds like fun !!!

Matt,
Since I have never been to a chicken swap before I have a question. Should I bring boxes or cages for any possible purchases or do the chicken seller provide the containers to take the chickens home in? Also maybe you should post an announcement on the North Carolina and East Tennessee threads to attract more people. See you Saturday.

Yes bring Boxes and cages for your purchases. There is a lot of interest in silkies, didn't know any were coming but I know of 3 locals that will be there and they asked for some. Everyone is welcome to come and sell or buy. Love to see more people!!!

I don't know, not everyone has said what they are bringing! Sorry I couldn't say. But we have lot of giveaways, raffle items and fun for everyone. Hope to see you!

Are you going to have a chicken stock this year? If so, I will be there. I will Norwegian Jaerhon chicks to sell this year. They are small chickens that lay lots of large eggs. They are autosexing so I can sell sexed chicks. Last years chick stock was small but I bought some very nice Easter Eggers and Olive Eggers form Fat Matt. They are really nice layers.
