I wanted to share my expanding family...
Blacky Tan and Chottu created Wadda.
Wadda mated with Blomma and Sita.
I wanted a hatch on Valentines' day (easy birthday to remember right!). I purchased assorted eggs from eBay, but they arrived earlier than expected, nad the hatch also effectively took place on 11th February.
A couple of each of Speckledy, Cream Legbar and Mixed. One of them had got damaged in the post. My Brinsea incubator only takes seven, so I added two from my backyard flock.
Of the five eggs from eBay, only one hatched.Both of mine were the first to hatch. And, so in the 2nd Generation, we have Basma and Afreen. They both looked pretty black to begin with, and now with their first molt, new feathers are revealing individual plumage. Still too early to tell, lets see how they develop in another couple month's time.
