2nd incubation no sign of life help!!

What do u mean age? I looked up what they should look like at this day in incubation said some veins should be visable!

It's the one I use for comparison. A good share of the time you can, but just don't get too discouraged yet. Are they your own eggs?

that you see something in a couple days. Have you ever checked the thermometer you are using in the bator for accuracy? If the temp runs on the low side it will delay the development too. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Thanks yes I'm running the same as I did last time so by Friday I should see something right if not oh well I guess I wasted my money!

Do you have multiple thermometers to make sure your temperature is correct? Still air incubators should be at about 101-102, forced air should be at 99.5.

Honestly, you need to chill out. Just wait! That's all you can do.
And when I say wait, I don't mean a day or two.

I have been checking eggs I put in my incubator 9 days ago. A friend looked at them saturday and tried to get me to scrap half of them...my dad said not to. I checked them again tuesday, especially the ones that had "rings" and there were veins and a moving dark spot...I watched it for a bit and there was certainly something moving around. My friend said they will still move around even if they are dead. I just dont believe him. Does a dead fetus swim around? I do worry because there is a ring but I think they are alive

When in doubt, leave it. It might just surprise you by hatching. It won't do any harm to leave for another week.
