2nd Order of chicks from Cackle Hatchery

Hi I am looking at getting some more Lavender Ameracaunas from Cackle Hatchery. And this time getting some black Ameracaunas. What do you guys think? I so far have 1 rooster out of the 7 chickens I ordered. I ordered 5 pullets and 2 cockerels.

I am thinking 15 lavender Ameraucanas and 5 black Ameracaunas. The best of these chickens will be used for breeding to the SOP. Does anyone have better advice on where to get them?

Unless you find a registered breeder, Cackle is the best you can get.

How are their temperaments?

They are sweet, but not lap chickens. We do not socialize them to be pets, but rather just chickens that we have.
