2nd timer needs help

this is my second time round incubating and hatching eggs. first time i attempted it was about a year ago and hatched out 13 of 13 chicks!
took alittle break from chickens as that flock was destroyed by racoons.....now i have better coop/run under construction. a friend of mine gave me 6 eggs to incubate. i didn't candle any, didn't even think about it till tonight. i'm on day 18. noticed tonight my temp spiked to 103...so i'm nervous!!! hopeing everthing is good. does any one have a good candle pic of a bad egg at day 18???
hoping to have 6 little chicks this weekend but don't know!

side note 3/4 of egg are a dark mass, don't know if thats a good or bad thing, hoping for good???
