2week old baby turkey

Hello to all
I have 3 baby turkey.until now only inside.i dont let them out until they around 6week or full with feder.they are in good healt.
I feed only turkey starter (galimax)bcz this feed have 28% protein.
Me question.can i freed some grass from yard?

You can put them out for the day on some clean grass or you can bring them sod clumps from your yard. Do you also keep chickens? Which can be carriers for blackhead.

As soon as your poults are getting grit you can give them short pieces of grass. My poults get grit from day one and enjoy the short pieces of grass I drop into their brooder. I try to not give them any pieces that are more than 1/2" long.
