I have two faverolle pullets and they looked like this at this age. One has slightly darker wings, but not that strong black that the roos have.

Hey,
So i decided we needed a few more girls and thought i'd give incubating eggs ago instead of going out and buying the pullets. I bought 12 eggs, all a mix of different bantams. In the end only 3 were fertile (Ebay

), 1 stopped growing about a week in, another died a few days before hatch due date, so i ended up with just the one chick out of 12 eggs...awful.

Anyway, so i now have a Salmon Fav which is now 15 days old. I've been looking at pictures of examples to try and work out it's sex and i've a horrible feeling after all this that it's a rooster but as i have nothing to compare it to, apart from online pictures, it's a bit difficult. It's wings are sprouting more and more dark feathers every time i look although it does have a few light brown coloured feathers, they're most definitely out numbered

Any help would be great
