I saw her vomit twice this afternoon, about an hour apart. Both times another hen rushed over and immediately ate it all up
so if I hadn't been watching I wouldn't even have known it happened. I also saw her pass some pretty liquidy poop.
She is eating and drinking normally, moving well, eyes bright, eating oyster shell, friendly, no objections to being picked up/handled. Crop felt normal.
I don't know if the weather has anything to do with this. It's been 100°+ for a while and this is much earlier than it's usually this hot. The flock has shade, fans, ice in the waterers, ice water foot baths, Chickān Aid in one of the waterers, and we spray down the runs several times during the day so they have nice cool dirt for dust bathing (she did take a dust bath today).
