i just noticed that my chick's upper lip is swollen on both sides.. its not the cheek but the upper part of the mouth where it connects to the beak. Does anybody know what is causing this and how to treat it? I've seen some chickens with this kind of swell before but it doesnt seem to go away..
here is a picture of the area that is swelling.. its not HUGE but it is noticeably different and u can definitely feel the bumps..
This is a older picture of the chick before he had the swelling... i have not yet taken a picture of him yet, I will do that tomorrow or whenever I can.. Please help.
