3-4 week old trying to bathe in pine shavings

Should I give her something else? She really struggles to roll in the shaving of her brooder box.

Sure - you can toss a clump of sod in there with her. She'll be afraid of it at first, then she'll go peck at it, then she'll demolish it! Curbs boredom, exposes her to dirt to give her some immunities, and becomes a dust bath - all for free! Is she a lone chick? They are pretty social and really prefer company.

There are six but she is the only one that seems to bathe yet. Tx

You're welcome! Mine love the sod clumps I toss them. Silly me - I thought when you were explaining that she was the only chick you had. The others will pick up on the sod, too!
