Yep boy butts. Also take note of those glassy, shiny feathers on back close to tail? Those are rooster feathers. Pick one and you will see it has a very different shape from hen feathers.

Yep, looking at the closer shots of the barred bird, all cockerels, the barred is a bit dark for a male but definitely not outside of the possiblities [he looks mixed breed, though]
But those sickles give em away.
