I recently rescued 3 bantams from horrid conditions, the owners had no clue as to breeds, they said they were a mix up in incubator chicks they received (private or hatery is unknown). They look a little rough right now but I'm working on getting them healthy. Just for my own curiosity looking to find out there breed(s). Redish one, white with little black specks & a few spots (has the beard cheeks) and a Black with white lace ......

1st pic kind of looks like a pekin...

I know what breeds they are the first one is a birchen cochin the second one is a americana and the last one is a cochin but I'm not sure of the color.

ps. I know because I have all those breeds in my flock.

The second one can't be an Ameracauna because it has a single comb. Plus, they aren't found purebred very often. The last one can't be a Cochin because it has white earlobes. The first one however looks like a Birchen Cochin. I'd say the other two are mixes.

The ear lobs may not be truely white, when i got them everything was white ( lobes, comb, waddles, around eyes) because they were sick & week, color has just started to come back. If the lobes are truely white then will she lay white eggs? They are all single comb with 5 points.I was wondering if the second was an EE mix? So maybe the D'uccle crossed with an EE or Americana( just a guess dont know breeds that weel, still learning) Thankyou for all the info everyone

Yes, white earlobes mean white eggs. Second looks like an EE/D'Uccle cross. Last is a definitely Cochin cross, possibly with a Dutch?
