Well let me tell you guys and tell me what to do. 1st off I like all animals very much, I don't have coon or possum or hawk problems not even a mouse. This past spring next door neighbor bought some cute little ducks and they started coming over my house to visit the chickens and Hounds, eventually they did not want to go home and leave their new found friends. Well the lady across the other side of road who keeps a scatter blaster on her front porch has 3 really stupid white large ducks and one really giant goose that eats Dogs for breakfast. Can't figure why she needs the Blaster with that goose around. Now here it goes Her ducks started crossing the road 4 days ago just chumming around I thought how cute, well they wattled around my pen checking out my girls and the Ducks I should have said Sizing up the place? yesterday I woke to a loud ruckus I looked out the back door and these 3 guys was on top of one of my neighbors ducks, I thought it was a nature thingy. This morning I woke to same racket but when I went to chase them off I noticed the duck was limping and falling over it had blood on its head and neck I had to put it down with my neighbors consent. These 3 ducks came over an attacked their own cousins trying to Kill them, and before you ask we tried to talk to Annie Oakley across the street 2 days ago and she said something like "Miff dos ma shabit gst bat wereh yall bolobg" not kidding she was lookin for ralph thats her scatter booster. Nowwww hear is my plan I am going to do an ambush on those 3 buda pest ducks sometime here in the next week, do you guys think thats ok. I have lived here 10 years and she was born in that run down farm of hers. I have 5 acres she has about 100. The ducks don't seem interested in my chickens they want the food thats out because annie don't feed none of her animals, she had some cows last year that broke out to drink water from our swimming pool, poor cows!!! and she has cats that always come over to steal my cats food and stuff. she says animals are meant to fend for them selves you know mice and grass and mud holes. I don't really lose any sleep about all this but come on now.

Sounds like it's time to call animal control or the sheriff or whoever is in authority there.

We're quite rural, no animal control, but when some neighbors had a poorly fed, housed and contained menagerie, authorities removed all the animals and forbade the people from getting more.

must say interesting story

Well, time to call the animal control to confront them about the mes-treating of their animals..... If animals are meant to feed themselves, then she should set them free! Sheesh!

I would eat those problem causing animals.

I agree in calling AC and animal welfare.Call till people come and check things out. I know feed is expensive.Gone up for ALL animals. So many are culling or selling their livestock.Even rehoming pets.

100 acres or 1 if the neighbors animals are coming on your property to steal food(and hurting your animals) then you have a legal right to expect the city/county to deal with this.

Now if they don't do anything I would go back to what I initially suggested-dinner.Except cats. Not into eating felines, but some like them. Those I would take to a shelter.

Good luck.IMO everyone should keep their animals on THEIR property.Mingling is cute for a few mintues at most.
