All my straight runs ended up being boys so I picked my favorite and am giving the rest a chance to have their own flocks.
Welp Sept. 21st hatch -- 20 weeks on Feb. 8.
Pair with Black hens for 50% blue chicks. Pair with Blue hens for 50% blue, 25% splash, 25% black.
Pink: SOLD See post from Feb. 3 for pictures of Red, who is now available.
Black
Yellow
Pink is the largest. Black has better color and lacing. Yellow has a pretty tail but is, honestly, a yard ornament rather than a good Australorp.
I can't say anything about personality at this stage. For what it's worth, I don't make pets out of cockerels and they're being raised with adult hens and a 7-month cockerel in charge of the flock.
