The second grade class at our school hatched out a clutch of Cream Legbar and Easter Egger eggs (the person I bought the eggs from keeps both breeds together, so she couldn't tell me which eggs came from which kind of crosses) on February 12. Unfortunately for us city dwellers, three of the chicks have turned out to be cockerels and have started crowing. All three have been hand raised and are very sweet and friendly! We'd love to find a home for as many as possible, as we'd prefer not to cull them. I'm in Eastern Alameda County (Castro Valley), but would be happy to drop them off to a good home.
Thanks!
