3 day old baby sweater chick

Attn: I have bought little flipper a buddy... she seems happier but I'm worried that the one I bought is too big for her. It is about a 3 week old barred black, and my flipper is 4 day old sweater... will it peck her? Are pecks attacks or getting to know each other?? I hope it can help teach my little one to eat and drink on its own...

Chicks usually peck eachother to investigate. They're looking to see if there is any food on the other chick. The new chick being so much older, however, may try to establish a pecking order. Literally. If it seems like it is picking on the baby too much, it may be better to separate them until the little one is better.

The chick is way too big and energetic to be with tiny. It will just wear her out and stress her more. I'm sure she would be happier with a stuffed toy and a mirror. Hope she makes it.

Lol, it's just the type of game chick. It's normally white or yellow with brown and grey on its wings and a strip down its back...

UPDATE: my little flipper likes his/her new buddy. They cuddle (surprisingly because the new bird is 3x flippers size) and I got flipper to peck at some food this morning... still hoping for a better outcome within a few days...

That's encouraging!! Oh, and thanks.....when nobody else asked I was sitting here wondering, "Am I the only nit-wit who doesn't know what that is!" Apparently I was!
