Hi. Any advice would be great, but I am not culling.

I had 6 chicks hatch 3 and 4 days ago. All 3 silkie chicks have splay legs. I am using a band aid to correct this. No improvement yet, but I am sure they will be fine, all but one of them. This one is now 4 days old, and it cannot stand, walk, stay upright or feed/ drink. I have been syringe feeding it, and today it is far more alert. It is gaining more balance. I have added chick vitamins and ACV. Is there anything else anyone can suggest please? I am in the UK, so most of the names I read, like Save a Chick, aren`t available to me.

One of mine took over a week with the bandaid. I would also practice with him, like moving him away from the food and others, and get him to figure out how to get back.

Thanks! The other 2 are running around like olympians. The chick I am worried about can`t walk yet, but it has had a lot of syringe fed food tonight, and is the most alert since it hatched. Maybe it will be ok.

Some have had luck putting them in a smaller teacup with something non-slip in it to help them stand and learn how to balance.

That is really helpful. I will do that tomorrow. It has been trying to stand tonight, so I think that would be good for balance. Thanks!
