Foolishly I picked up my chicks yesterday when I was in a hurry, 'cause I was in the area, and didn't take a close look at them all. When I got them all home and was putting them in my brooder I looked at them all really carefully and noticed that on of the Speckled Sussex chicks has a prolapsed vent. She's so small I don't know what to do. The feed mill offered to replace her but she'll probably just get culled and as of now she is eating/drinking well, eliminating and acting like a normal chick. The others are amazingly leaving her alone. Has anyone encountered this problem? Where you successfully able to treat?
