3 day old, lump on butt, odd movement

New chicks. 3 day old chicks. This one flipped backward, twisting neck. I’m able to force a little vitamin and sugar water in with syringe but chick seems disinterested, eyes closed, not a peep. Flipped her over and vent looks like it’s contracting but there is this hard dark lump above it see pic. Is that pasty butt or was she picked? She’s sleeping all the time. Eyes closed.
The movement issue, can that be related?

The hard dark "lump" is most likely the umbilicus, so don't fuss with that. Vitamin E mixed with some egg yolk might help if this is neurological due to a vitamin E deficiency.

I was able to get in a small amt vitamin E, but sadly the chick with ataxia died.
I have another of the same breed (niederrheiner) that has not yet stood up. It is weak, legs not splayed but does not bear weight. Eyes closed. Takes vitamin water via syringe. I gave warm honey water, too. Watery poop. I have him isolated under a heating pad cave.
All other chicks are thriving so far; I hope this little makes it.

The dead chick and this weak one both have hard beady crops. The living weakling expelled about 1/4 tsp clear mucus from its mouth. I’m thinking impacted crop. Perhaps they ate some bedding in transit. The bedding had some green gel that was solid and matted the bedding. I’m going to do an exploratory necropsy and see if that is in the crop. I check all others, crops do not seem unusually firm. To be continued..and praying for no more dead chicks.
