Two of my newly hatched mearns quail appear to have dislocated joints at the ‘elbow’. Theyre able to get around but flop over every few steps and it’s pretty pathetic to watch. I don’t see this being sustainable with all of their weight on their joint like that…

Is there I can do to avoid culling?? Is it possible for them to still grow up relatively healthy but with a handicap or is this a death sentence if left untreated?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated… At $35 per hatching egg and a 50% hatch rate, I’d be willing to spend more on an avian vet but Id rather not…
