3 days and no egg...broody??? idk

My EE usually lays 3-6 days in a row, and takes 1 day off in between and now all of a sudden I haven't had an egg in 3 days. She's not being aggressive just no eggs and she does stay in the nesting box alot with no eggs under her. Is she getting broody or just taking a break from laying? ?. First time chicken owner, and have no idea what to do??

If shes just sitting in he nesting box for days, Id say shes broody. if you have a roo, you can leave a few underneath her and see if they hatch

Does she stay in the nest all day and all night?
Growl and fuss if you mess with her?
Those are broody signs.

If she's not doing those broody things but is not laying and spending a lot of time in the nest, she may be ill or egg bound. Check her belly and around the vent for any swelling.

Is she eating, drinking, pooping OK?

Sometimes of there's been some kind of stress.....new birds, pecking order battles, predator attacks....the stress can put them off laying for a few days.

How old is she, might she be molting?
They won't lay when molting and often just don't feel well so can be less active.

She started laying again.guess she just needed a break. Lol. Her personality never changed, and I don't think there was any stress cause nothing change. She has only been laying since March 16th.
