3 drakes and 1 hen...

My ducks have gotten to the age where they want to mate. Today two of my drakes tried getting on top of my only hen. My Pekin and Rouen tried getting on top of my khaki. I feel like my Pekin would crush her because he weighs more than twice as much as she does. My Rouen is not to heavy I don’t think he could hurt her. The thing is that sometimes my drake Pekin tries to get on top of another drake Pekin and also tries to get on top of the drake Rouen. I only have one hen and I don’t want my drakes over mating with my hen. My two drake Pekins are 3months and my Rouen and khaki are only 10wks. Should they be mating this early? What should I do? HELP!!

You should be looking for homes for at least two of your drakes and for more hens if you keep one drake. Yes they can injure the hen, and if water is involved they can inadvertently drown her while gang breeding. What you describe is an accident waiting to happen. An alternative is to keep the three drakes and find a home for the hen.

Well I am going to rehome then due a dog attacking them. She will keep them till I move. She only has chickens though and no ducks. No one I know has ducks, only chickens. While she takes care of these I’m looking for a new home hopefully I can get 2 new pekins but I buy them from TSC so they don’t come sexed. I really love my drake Pekin and I want to keep my khaki for egg laying. However if I only keep the hen then the drakes try to mate with each other and I dont know if that’s normal because they’ve tried to before unless I got their genders wrong...

rehome just the hen and have a bachelor/drake flock! as long as you have no girls, the three drakes will be best friends!
