3 egg incubator

I hatched a fertile egg from the supermarket in one of those cheesy cheap little dome incubators, lol.
I named him "Safeway". They can work if you keep it somewhere in your house where the temperature does fluctuate much. But, you would probably be better off to spend a little more to buy the cheapest styrofoam type incubator since it would keep a more even temperature.

I think the answer is if the room temp is constant or close to constant they will work, but if at a school where temps are drasticallly dropped then you will have less chance of good results.

The Brisnea 3 egg incubator is crap too IMO.
I have one and the thing won't hatch anything. I had to help the chicks hatch because it doesnt control the humidity good enough. Everytime I used it I had fertile eggs that developed and never hatched. I only managed to get one to hatch without a problem and only ever one each time I used it if any. I used it for a full straight season and hatched a total of 3 chicks, 2 of which I had to put in my Lyon bator to finish hatching once they pipped as they were dying.

I got 2 incubators off of freecycle for free! Just a thought, if you post that you are looking for 1 someone may answer! They answered me
