3 Egg selling questions - Is it okay to sell fertile egg? How much to do you sell your eggs for?

I certainly appreciate the information I've received so far, but would still love to hear some more opinions and answers about the ethics of selling fertile eggs, how much others sell there eggs for and what sorta sign setup y'all use to let people know you've got eggs for sale! Thanks

Some store bought eggs are fertile too.
As long as you refrigerator eggs I see no point in advertising that they are fertile unless you are selling hatching eggs.
I see ads on Craigslist all day long for egg sales.
You could browse your local CL for ideas on pricing.

I don't sell...I give away eggs so I guess I'm no real help, sorry.

Thank you! Yeah, I plan to give whatever I can't sell to a local food bank that said they'd love to give them out. But I figure I may as well sell as many as I can to help cover my chicken feed costs.... Anyone else?

We live in SE South Dakota. We sell ours for $3/dozen. That seems to be what people are willing to pay around us. We tried to sell them for more, but didn't have any interest. We don't advertise that they are fertilized unless asked. We just get customers through word of mouth because we live in a small town, so we don't have a sign or anything. We also live on a country road with no traffic, so there's no reason for us to have a sign. I like your idea about having a side that says you're out, that way people know!
