My piggie went to 'market' last week... My freezer if very full right now...and still waiting on the ham and bacon...
So far the sausage, pork burgers and brats have been excellent!
I don't want to mess with them in the cold Indiana winter, but next spring I will have another.
Please schedule your butchering early. I waited until they were ready and then had to sweet talk the butcher into taking them. Had to wait a month, if I had more than 2 if would have been middle end of October.
Mine I got on 4/13 at 10lbs. One was 350 and other was 285 on 9/30....The white boy grew much faster than the red(duroc?) girl.
