He's a silkie. He developed this tic a few weeks ago, as far as I know. It's a little more pronounced with time.
His hatch was normal & his health has been great throughout his life.
His diet is great: organic chicken layer developer feed with extra protein in the mornings: Eggs or soy protein, fruits/vegetables once daily
He's a silkie. He developed this tic a few weeks ago, as far as I know. It's a little more pronounced with time.
Once in a while, when he's trying to look at some good I give him close-up,
he cranes the right side of his head toward the food & then a nervous tic develops
& his head jerks slightly toward the side for 5-10 seconds.
Then he's just fine.
I've never seen it happen to the left.
He's developing normally, close to adolescence, trying to crow a little .
he's got a great disposition, is gentle & friendly.
He's not sick, so... what is this?
I'm going to try adding flax & Vitamin E to his diet.
Any ideas if this is a disease coming on?
