3 month old chicks with 1 month old chicks. I quick feed q questions.

Well i may be getting some 3 month old pullets to put in with my 1 month old pullets. I know to quarantine them, and wait tell that are about the same size o to place together, but.... What about the feed. Once they are together is it that important to keep the flock raiser and layer feed. DO any of you have experience in this?

I would just use the flockraiser and have a dish of oyster shell for free choice.
