3 month old duck joining 1 year old duck?

Hi, I have recently gotten a 3 month old duck to give company to my 1 year old duck. However, I was wondering how I should introduce them so they can bond and be companions to each other.

Welcome! Check out forums on ducks. There's likely a thread on how to introduce a duckling to an existing duck. I would imagine the 'see don't touch' method using something line a dog crate would would work, but I have 0 experience with ducks.

Welcome to BYC. Is the older duck a female ? If so gradual, monitored introduction can be started if the temperatures where you are located allow. If the older duck is a drake the duckling will have to be more mature and female.

Hello everyone, thanks for the quick help and advice. I actually don't know what gender my 1 year old duck is, but the younger one is a female. And, I will try a see dk t touch method at frost and see how they interact. Hope it works.

I believe male ducks have a little curly tailfeather from a quick Google search.
