      Hi! I am in kane county IL and looking for button quail chicks! I saw(and also replied) your post on how you recently incubated quail eggs and I’m literally not wanting to for the very reasons you mentioned i.e the issues that come up and since my 8yr old begged me for buttons,I just would much rather purchase day old chicks.

        I don't have buttons. Just Jumbo Browns. The buttons are good for pets but useless for meat, which is what I am most interested in.

        Several are much larger than the rest. We are keeping an eye on them for future breeding stock.

        Check out my coop page connected to my profile to see the updates on the cages I am building into our shed coop. We will have three 3'x8' cages inside and one portable 3'x8' cage outside that will come inside for winter months. One of the cages inside the shed coop will be divided into sections for breeders - I cannot wait to start breeding.
