Welcome to BYC. It was nice of you to provide a friend for your older ducks. The see but don't touch approach has already been cited, and that is your best method going forward. When you first introduce them, the older duck, if it is male, will probably make his gender very obvious, and go after the younger duck, even if they are separated. If that is the case, don't put them together until the younger duck is full grown. Good luck!
