These are just guesses, but I'd say Fluffy is a pullet and Choo Choo is a cockerel. In silkies, I look for comb and wattle development (which can be a bit misleading), as well as streamers coming from the crest. Typically, with the silkies I've had, the boys tend to have a couple tall, arching tail feathers whereas the girls just have little puffballs of tails, but I'm not sure if that's just me.
