3 months old chick can't put his head up

But yeah it went like this: she was running around in the morning with her sister and everything was fine, 2 hours after I found her on the side of the cage with the head down, which is what leads me to believe she may have hurt her neck while pecking stuff from the cage bars

The vitamins in feed are in adequate amounts to support normal levels, but when a chick has a deficiency the supplement levels need to be higher in order to reverse the deficiency. Once the deficiency is reversed then normal levels in feed should maintain them again. The usual treatment follows supplementing to see if you can get some improvement, and very often it does. If it is an injury or illness then the supplementing is not likely to help and there is really not much else you can do. Time will tell in those cases. I would go ahead and supplement and hope for some improvement. Vitamin deficiencies are relatively common and can have some very odd neurological symptoms. Vitamins in feed degrade with time, so older feed can contribute. A chick that is lower in pecking order can be kept from feed and suffer deficiencies, deficiencies can start while the chick is developing in the egg before hatch based on the health of the parent.

Managed to get a vet to check her out, it's cervical dislocation, nothing can be done because any attempt will likely lead to death, so only time will tell now. I will update if it makes any improvement.

Update: she is recovering! She can now keep her head up for hours without any problems and I was able to reunite her with her sister. Thank you all for the advices, I will update you as soon as I get some new updates.

It sounds like she had wry neck, not a cervical dislocation, since she is improved. We are glad to hear that she is better, and I would keep giving the extra vitamins for a few more days.

i hadn't started giving her anything as my vet told me it would just be useless due to the nature of the problem, he told me it was either a muscle problem or a bone problem, i am pretty sure it's a muscle problem though since she recovered so quickly :), thank you all for the advices, she's pretty much like a normal chick now! :)
