3 new chicks from Hoover's Hatchery

I just went to my local feed store and they had chicks from Hoover's Hatchery. I bought 3.

2 LO and a leghorn. I hatched the black ones from store eggs from a local farm.

You are making me miss baby chicks so much! The local farm store gets its chicks from Hoover's, but has not been able to get any in -- which is a bonus for me because:
1) I don't need more chickens;
2) I really don't need more chickens; and
3) I have no will power when it comes to not getting more chickens.

My area, they said they are going to cancel their last order because people were not buying the chicks.

I mentioned some other cute breeds I didn't buy, and my husband asked why I didn't get them also, that is not helpful to my chicken math! The 3 are currently with a couple I hatched, this week, soon they will go in with chicks 1 week older.

I had to buy feed today, and again, they had no chicks. But I saw some folks peering into the brooders, looking for some.

Your husband actually asked why you didn't get more chicks??? He's a keeper!

These are the chicks, I have not combined them yet.
We will test my husband's "keeperiness" when I get 2 mini boxes from 2 hatcheries, next month.

Also The week before I had bought a SLW. and a GLW from same feed store, they were from Hoovers too.
