I went today to get 2 more chicks, just 2! Chicken math strikes again, but only got one extra. LOL
The lady at the farm said that likely all 4 of my original chicks are boys, I showed her shots of them today with their bright red combs and all that. Blah. I'm sick over that part of all this.
Anywhoo!! I got 3 new chicks. A gold laced wyandotte, a silver laced wyandotte and a new hampshire red. They are the sweetest babies!! Unexpectedly, they just snuggle in when I pet them, which is such a weird thing since my original 4 struggle and squirm the whole time. Here are pics of the little ladies (yep, we're sure they're ladies this time!!)
Aren't they so beautiful?? I'm so in love. I haven't named them yet, hubby is making me ask the kids for input (darnit) but I want to name one Camilla and Miss Piggy since we just watched the Muppet movie.
