Wondering how your chicks did with the sneezes meghannybarra? My runty little Marans was the only one of my six (mixed flock) that started a cute little delicate sneeze at 3 weeks of age. I changed their bedding to a supposedly less dusty variety, added some vitamins to their water and watched her like a hawk. I had also just backed off their light a bit (it's mostly decoration at this point), and she is the least feathered. Now almost a week later, I hardly ever see the sneeze, but it is still present, and I can almost localize it to her left nare. She never had runny eyes or nasal discharge. I associate it with her drinking behavior, but who knows. The others seem to raise up their beaks to swallow and she does not. She is also the most rambunctious "forager", scratching adorably since day one. I'm a newbie and a little hypervigilant about my first chicklets. I'd love to get them the heck out of my bathtub and outside but this New England spring is not giving us a break..
