3 roosters and 6 new golden sex-link chicks

Well, three of our chickens are roosters. We had to get rid of them. We bought 6 new chicks.

Thank you, Padre! The roosters went to the H.S. ag dept. They are now crowing like crazy for all of the pretty chicks. I think they are happy.

The new chickens are golden sex-link. The feed store said, these are all girls. My husband asked how they know (that's what they said when we bought the other chickens and they were actually straight run). The cashier looked at him and said that the boys are white.

So, we are happy with the new chicks. I will get some picts soon.

On a side note, my barred rock climbed into our pecan tree yesterday. When I came into the pen she jumped down like, 'who me?' She stayed down since then. How did she know that I did not what her up there? She looked guilty.
