3 sides hen house?

I am wondering if this would work for our area (central coast of California) it gets HOT in the summer (100+ from late July- September pretty reliably) and cold (upper 20’s overnights in the winter, jan/feb)
Are our swigs too drastic? Or would this be ok (more ventilation, more light, etc)
What else do we need to worry about with a 3 sides hen house? Our run is 100% sided in 1/2in hardware cloth, top is galvanized roofing, apron skirt of hardware cloth around the perimeter.

Should be fine. Hot weather is more concerning for chickens than cold weather.

I'd leave it as open as possible in the summer,
