3 standards got a house:-)

Well, my NN rooster Mo and his 2 australorp hens got a house yesterday. It's just a large dog house I got at lowes. Someone I know brought me a dog house but it was too little for them.

Mo and his women have been in the garage b/c they got respiratory infections. It's been about 2 weeks ago. For the past 4 days there has been no sneezing, they gained weight, and Mo has been crowing non stop.

So yesterday, I moved them back outside. Their new dog house is big enough that I could hang a heat source at the top for them. It's a ceramic heat bulb and high enough up that they can't get burned by it. Last night was a freakin battle to get them in it b/c it was new. All day today they kept going in and out. Too make me even happier I went out to put everyone up and Mo and his girls were in the house!!!!
I guess they approve!!!

Congratulation, I am so happy to know that your chicken doing well now, today we lost one hen and we feel real bad, she never grew she was about 7.5 months old and never gaind weight, w did every thing w could for her, worming, antibiotic vitamins, but I think that's part of life.
Any way I don't want to wine for you.
