My Muscovy Drake (roughly 3-4 months old) has diarrhea. He is fine in every other aspect of things other than his wet bum. Hes eating, drinking and is very active and responsive and his eyes are clear. The only thing that has changed is that we have been having predator visitors. Is it possible hes just being effected by stress?? Or is there something else that I should take notice of?? Also my other Muscovy (his mate) is just fine and showing no signs of diarrhea.

This may sound a bit strange but what colour is he?

I have had experience with white muscovies which have stained bums that appears to be diahorrea, but it's not. The predators may be giving him a fright which could cause temporary diahorrea, but if it persists, I suggest a trip to the vet.

Its like a khaki tan type color and his bum is wet to the touch and he went while I was holding him today and I noticed it yesterday evening as well.

I'd love to see a picture of him! I've never seen that colour on a scovie before!

Some things that cause diahoerra are worms, bad food, too much watery food (particularly iceburg lettuce), liver and kidney problems etc.

Ducks do tend to have watery, smelly droppings anyway but if they are noticably different to his mate then I really recommend a trip to the vet as he may need some meds to settle his stomach or sort out an infection.

Best of luck!

O I guess I read your post wrong...lol...I thought you meant the color of his poo not him, haha! He is a Chocolate Pied Muscovy.

Its not a great picture but this is one that I took yesterday
