Hey all! I know it’s super early but I’m hoping to get some eyes on these babes. I see at least two Roos already but the others I’m not sure yet. I know in the coming weeks it will be more evident but I guess I’m worried because I’m hoping at least one of these is to be a girl because I’m raising chicks for a friend and she’s not ready to take on a roo but reallllyyy wanted a BCM so I rolled the diced and got four and said I’d keep the rest lol 🫠 anddd here I am. I hope I get a lady too though but I know it’s part of the gamble.

Any guesses are appreciated.

Thank you for your input. The only one I’m hoping might not be a Roo is number 3 but that’s only based on coloring because I agree they all have big combs. Her comb also has a different texture to the points… so idk 🤪
That comb is also still yellow. If it turns red by 6 weeks it probably is a male as well.

Update: only one hasn’t turned red combed lol 😂
Thoughts? 4 weeks old now

Also side note: do bcms show their copper super early? All the red combed boys are copper all over the place and this last hopeful pullet doesn’t have any other than a beginning collar.
