3 week old Brahmas- pullets feather faster? PICS ADDED

My light Brahma chicks weren't yellow, which I've since learned is the preferred. They looked like this when I got them:

The little gray one in front looking forward and the one behind him.

7 weeks
Interesting! The darker chicks are preferred? Or the yellow? That is very interesting that they come in two colors. :)

I didn't word that very well, did I? If I understand correctly, the yellow chicks trend to grow up with that Columbian pattern more well defined than the darker chicks. If I'm incorrect I hope somebody will chime in.

You worded it just fine! I think it was my brain not processing it. :) That is very interesting information about the chicks. I had no idea! You learn something new every day. :) Thanks for sharing that!

Adding some newer pics they still look very different with their feathering and one comb is more developed than the other

Brahma #1 has a lot more feather and advanced comb

I have buff brahma chicks. They come in at least three colors. :) Would love to see what yours look like now.

Here's a more recent pic of the newbies. I don't have one on here of just the brahmas. One is still less fluffy than the other and has a smaller comb but I don't see any pointed saddle feathers so still unsure of sex. Suspected too also still absolutely hats being handled and is the most feisty. They're 7.5 weeks now.
