I have a 3 week old olive egger chick that I purchased along with 19 other chicks. All are healthy, happy and energetic except this one. When it opens its eye the eye are more almond shaped and then it ends up closing the back fairly quickly as if it can't physically keep them open. It is also quite content to sit in my hand while everyone else runs around in the coop playing. I have seen it drink but not eat but obviously it is or it wouldn't still be alive. I am heading to buy some nurti-drench or save a chick to see if that will help any as well as terramycin to see if that helps with the eyes. Does anyone know of an eye disease or issue that could be causing this or have suggestions of what I can do to help it?
