Hello fellow chicken lovers,
Have any of you seen or experienced something like this with any of your chickens? We noticed it a couple of days ago. At first, it was a bit green which we thought indicated infection so we have been applying neosporin. It does seem to help a bit.
It is a whitish looking cyst, maybe, that is somewhat hard to the touch. However, she does not seem to be in too much pain. We figured the balding is a result of the other chicks pecking at her. We have isolated her from the rest of the flock. Does any one have any suggestions as to what this could be or what we can do to make her feel better.
Thank you, from Virginia
