OK, my wife's in a panic, so I need your back up here.

It's their first night out. It's getting down to 42 degrees tonight. I have them with their mother hen, and they have a covered plastic dog house to stay inside with 2 inches of bedding.

Will they be ok?

Yep!

I always try to get mine out between 2 and 3 weeks of age, and all they get is a heat lamp! They'll be FINE with their hen!

Thanks! They're completely out of any wind, and tightly sealed in the doghouse. How cold before I should get them some heat in addition to the mother hen?

I think they'll be fine with their mom. Unless it's gonna be 0*F tomorrow or something drastic like that. You really don't want them too tightly sealed up - they still need ventilation!

The thing I like about fall is that the cooler it gets the more feathers they have grown!
