3 week old cuckoo marans-- it is Kenna, Bash, or still in the air?!

My Cuckoo Maran is only 2 1/2 weeks old. I’m sure she’s still too young to identify. I was just curious for updates on the posts. I’ll post pics!

It's still a bit young but as more feathers replace the chick down, a female's will be darker and the male's lighter. Marans cockerels tend to get some pretty significant comb and wattle development as well. Although Marans hens can fool you in that regard as well. I'd guess a pullet right now.

This is my cuckoo Maran and a barred rock. They are a few days apart (BR, last photo is older) but I’m thinking both may be Roos as they Red turning pink/red. Today is 3weeks for my youngest
 
What's the verdict on your cuckoo maran? My chick looks just like your pics and I'm curious!
Bumblebee is a BARRED ROCK and a hen. I’m quite disappointed that the breeds were swapped or I grabbed the outlier. She’s currently broody for her second time. Haha. Good luck!
