So I've noticed over the last week that there are some bloody poos in the brooder. Not sure how as they've been in a dry brooder since coming to me at 3 days old. They were in an indoor brooder before that as well.

So, could this be cocci even though they are indoors? They are acting fine.

Cocci is caused when they eat there own poo. It shouldn't matter whether they were inside or outside, any chick can get it. It is fatal and to prevent it from getting worse, keep their brooder extra clean until you don't see anymore bloody poo.

It can be normal for chicks to eat their own poop sometimes, and they build up an immunity to it, but in large doses, eating poo can kill them.
