3 week Salmon Faverolle

Can anyone tell me if this Salmon Faverolle chick is a male or female? It is 3 weeks old. I got the chick from Tractor Supply. The salmon colored feathers came in first with no black and the wings were long. But this past week, we noticed the black color and it keeps increasing.

That’s a lot of color for a 3 week old comb, in addition to the black feathers. I think male!

Yah that's a boy. Don't feel bad I bought 6 sexed pullets, 3 are cockerells lol. They are very unique looking roosters for sure.

By the way, I recommend handling him a LOT, because it is easier to rehome roosters when they are nice ones. With our rooster, we handled him a LOT and he became okay friendly. I don’t know if that’s exactly what made him so friendly and it may not work for all roosters, but it’s worth a try.

Definitely a cockerel. Pullets will not have al that black. Very little black, lots of cream colors
